At AJC & Acro of Kingwood every instructor has been competing locally and nationally for over 8 years in BJJ. Besides competition we have an extensive background in building up all age groups in gymnastics/tumbling and fitness. We aim to promote longevity in an engaging and focused way.

We are a small club at our roots and the studio we are in is perfect for personalizing everyone's experience with BJJ and Acro. Acrobatics classes are purposefully limited in size which allows for more one on one instruction and we believe BJJ classes can easily modified for everyones needs.
Kids Class Information
Fun, Focused and Engaging
Our kids classes are a great way to introduce your son/daughter into a practical system that will protect them and give them great confidence.
Besides being fun, these classes are designed to teach your child self defense in a way that promotes fitness and rational decision making.
We want them to know how to defend themselves along with how to not get into those situations in the first place.
Acrobatics classes are purposefully small for more one on one time between the athlete and coach. We are focused on gaining body awareness and control while pursuing new acrobatic skills. Aside from skills we encourage creativity and fitness.
Adult Class Information
Adult classes are either GI (with kimono) or NOGI (without kimono). Our curriculum is aimed at breaking down specific positions and techniques over the duration of a month. Doing it this way we believe you learn very proficiently and the art becomes a kind of physical game.
Jiu-Jitsu takes time to learn but can be more rewarding than many people know. Aside from the self defence aspect (this happens naturally over a few months) the biggest part of BJJ is the training. Classes are all an hour or more so you will sweat, smile and learn every time.
